Recipe for Fajita Seasoning

The secret to any respecting fajita is having a fantastic seasoning.  Wether you like your seasoning with the beef/steak or chicken fajita to taste like the original chilli texas.

If you like the mexican taste or if you like it to taste like vegetables you should definetely consider some expert advice on this subject.

Let's first start with the basics for a great tasting fajita - otherwise you can have the best seasoning but still end up with a fajita which no one in your family will eat!

Not even the children who normally go mad for such food.   You need to get all the ingredients for the fajita from a fresh meat/poultry seller.

I suggest you do not buy any such food from supermarkets which might have been storing all this food in salt which is definetely not good for your health.  Speaking about healthy food - altough fajitas are normally not associated with healthy food, however you can boil the meat / chicken instead of frying it, which I believe does not make much of a difference in the taste, but will help keep your arteries open without any cholesterol! -

If you like to fry food in butter, I normally suggest that people fry everything in olive oil or at least a mixture of vegetable and olive oil.

The ingredients that were originally used in the text-mex taste that you will need for a great fajita seasoning are mainly the following:   salt and pepper oregano soy sauce onions and garlic green peppers paprika sweet and sour sauce chilli   I am not including how much you need for every ingredient because I believe that everyone likes different tastes so you should include more of what you like and less of what you hate!

I would suggest you get all these ingredients and mix everything and after you boil or fry the chicken or beef you are using you should add all the paste to the fajita and serve - Let me know if your family likes it or not!!

If you like your fajita to be extra salty and extra tex-mex try these ingredients instead:

Altough beware - this is not for everyone :)

you should use - flour based fajitas and not the normal tortillas you buy as these will blend much better with the saucy taste we are going to prepare

original taco sauce (most supermarket have also extra hot!)

sun-dried tomatoes

onions (add an extra portion too if you like!)

black beans <- this one is the secret ingredient for this seasoning recipe!

as usual add everything together and mix!
