| The
Best Fajita Recipes you will ever find will
probably have been originated in Mexico or the
south of Texas. Actually that's where the name
Tex-Mex originated from. You will most naturally
find that these fajitas include the chilliest
ingridients.
Most of these recipes
have been learnt from mothers to daughters and
include some original recipes which the original
wives of mexican cowboys started experimenting
with and finding ways how to feed their hungry
men with low cost solutions whilst not taking
much time off their most precious house work!
The best fajita recipes
have found their way also in many high class
restaurants, altough to be fair they are only
served as an apetizer however most such
restaurants do keep the ingredients and the
actual recipe a very close guarded secret.
I have also heard that
some chefs have been made to sign a
non-disclosure agreement, so if they go to work
with someone else.
They cannot even divulge
the minimum of details of how the fajitas were
prepared in other restaurants in the time they
used to work for them! Unbelievable you might say
because such fajitas are very easy to prepare and
everyone makes them at home... however the real
secret lies with the sauces that are prepared and
served with these delicous meals!
A reader of this website
sent me one great recipe which she says that her
children adore, I have tried it and assure you
it's probably as good as the best you will ever
taste in your life!
I strongly reccomend you
try it:
the ingredients you will
need for this fajita are
half a cup of hot chilli
sauce - now pay attention here - if it is too hot
for you to handle!! - don't use it all at once!
for those who love it I
also suggest you add some lemon or lime - not
much - just a spoonful would be more than enough!
- otherwise the lemon or lime taste would be too
much and would actually overshadow the chilli
taste
I suggest you include
good quality oil - do not use a cheap one!
garlic
beef or chicken -
whichever you prefer
and of course - Fajita
wraps!!!
fry everything slowly and
add the ingredients to your fajita wrap - and let
me know what you think!!! I assure you that your
children (and husbands) will probably bother you
for months to come to keep preparing these and
please don't be afraid to add other ingredients
such as lettuce or tomatoes, depending on your
tastes - and experiment as much as you like...
there's absolutely no risk of overdoing it!!
